URGENT - TLW Solicitors Scam Warning:
Fraudsters Using TLW Solicitors’ Name to Approach Crypto Scam Victims

Latest News

We have been made aware of people being contacted by scammers claiming to be from TLW Solicitors offering to help recover money lost in crypto.

If you are approached by anyone purporting to be from TLW Solicitors, claiming to be able to recover money or cryptocurrency held on the block-chain, this is a scam – you should not engage with these people.

These fraudsters are contacting unsuspecting individuals by telephone or via email, promising to recover cryptocurrency – if you engage, they are likely to ask you to pay money upfront.

When approaching people pretending to be from TLW Solicitors, these fraudsters are using email subject headings which often state:
“TLW Solicitors” regarding your lost investment.

The names that are currently being used in these approaches include:

  • Sarah Nelson
  • Thomas Mason
  • Shouthi Hasmkal
  • Tom Carter
  • FR Agency

If you are contacted by anyone claiming to be acting on our behalf in relation to a lost crypto investment, you should not engage with them.

If you have shared any details with the scammers, please urgently get in touch with Action Fraud, the national fraud and cybercrime reporting centre. In addition, if you have provided any bank details or made a payment to the fraudsters, then urgently contact your bank.
