Urgent – TLW Solicitors Scam Warning

Latest News

Fraudsters Using TLW Solicitors’ Name & Company Details to Approach Victims of ‘Unregulated & Dishonest Trading Platform’ Scams.

We have been made aware that people have been contacted by ‘Forensic Litigation’, which is using TLW Solicitors’ logo and company number in correspondence.

If you are approached by anyone purporting to be from Forensic Litigation and using TLW Solicitors’ branding, claiming they can help you recover lost funds and/or cryptocurrency, this is a scam – you should not engage with these people.

These fraudsters are contacting unsuspecting individuals via email, promising to recover money on their behalf. If you engage, the scammers are likely to ask you to pay money upfront.

Although the email ends with the TLW Solicitors logo, company number, and a link to our entry on Companies House, this so-called company or department, Forensic Litigation, has nothing to do with TLW Solicitors.

“Hello ,

My name is Jade Thomas, Senior Investigator at Forensic Litigation. We are leading organization dedicated to safeguarding individuals and their assets in the increasingly complex world of financial transactions.

Interpol has responded forcefully to financial crimes by collaborating with other international authorities to shut down numerous illicit operations. As you may already be aware, the rise in cryptocurrency fraud, money laundering, and cybercrime has resulted in an increase in unregulated and dishonest trading platforms.

Digital wallets and a substantial amount of data were seized during these crackdowns. Now, this data has been safely moved to Forensic Litigation. Our main responsibility is to carefully confirm the identity of those whose data was recovered, assess their claims, and, if necessary, mark them as victims of these fraudulent schemes. Our goal is to help these people recover their misplaced money and regain their financial stability.”

If you are contacted by anyone claiming to be acting on our behalf or from Forensic Litigation in relation to a lost investment or cryptocurrency, you should not engage with them.

If you have shared any details with scammers, please urgently contact Report Fraud, the national fraud and cybercrime reporting centre. In addition, if you have provided any bank details or made a payment to the fraudsters, contact your bank urgently.

Our Advice

“If you are approached by anyone purporting to be from Forensic Litigation, even if they are using the TLW Solicitors name and logo, this is fake – you should not have any dealings or contact with these people. If you are concerned that you may have been scammed, urgently get in touch with your bank and Report Fraud.”
