TLW have recently obtained out of court settlements for a number of former printing machine operators.
All of our clients' hearing had been damaged due to the high levels of noise in which they were working in without being given hearing protection. In those cases where it was justified, TLW obtained compensation to allow our clients to buy hearing aids to help with their hearing problems, as well as compensation for the actual injuries they suffered.
In most cases, as well as industrial deafness our clients suffered from tinnitus (ringing / buzzing in the ears) which had been caused by exposure to high levels of noise.
